PLACED AN ORDER WAITED TWO WEEKS PHONED THEM NOT GOING TO BE IN STOCK FOR A FEW MORE WEEKS I WAS INFORMED THAT I WAS QUITE A WAY DOWN THE WAITING LIST!

BUT THEY ALREADY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD SO WHILE IM PAYING INTEREST ON CARD FOR A MONTH TWIDDLING MY THUMBS WAITING FOR TV THEY GOT MY CASH NICELY TUCKED AWAY GAINING INTEREST!!!

DONT BOTHER JUS PAY A BIT MORE AND GET IT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Summary

This is a very good looking tv with an excellent picture, especially after a few adjustments, which are easy to do. The picture on freeview or sky is brilliant Bright and sharp. motion is handled very well, with minimal smearing on fast moving objects. colours are vibrant with deep blacks and bright whites. Sound is not so good, needs a bit more bite to it, but i have heard worse from bigger tvs. The remote is quite long and is easy to use. The connections are adequite but another HDMI socket wouldnt have gone a miss, nevermind. All in all its very impressive and im glad i bought it.

Great picture quality, Very easy to set up and to use. good connections with a game mode. Freeview decoder built in. HDMI input.

What are the weaknesses?

Sound is a little light, could and should be better.
Wall bracket fixings are weak, you cant get a tight fit. so be careful. only one RGB enabled scart.

Easy to install, good looking set, nice picture, good price..

Couldn't record programmes to my Sony DVD recorder when the set was on standby. Sony person said this model wasn't designed to allow recording when not on. When I mentioned recording while on holiday hesuggested I ask neighbours to come in and switch set on at required times (honest). Tried to speak to a Samsung technical advisor, but told it would take 3 days at "this time of year" (Jan 5th).

very easy to set up...plug and play means just that

have read other reviews which suggest sound quality is not as good as some others...seemed fine for my room which isn't huge but I've connected it through hi fi surround sound and it's really good.

Summary

A good value for money TV and 24/7 electrical not only offers a great price but also an excellent service. Both, TV and retailer are recommended
