I will certainly consider shopping with Martin Dawes again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. |

Delivery is poor - I didn't get it as quick as I thought, and I was sent an email suggesting a date they might deliver. However all sorted with a phone call.
Also - delivered by City Link, who are not up to delivering items like this.
Only one guy in the van, pretty rough with the product, and packaging damaged.
Was friendly enough though.

Easy ordering.
Efficient customer service.
Quick delivery but no timeslot given so potentially had to take whole day off work to stay in for delivery - some retailers give timeslot and then ring half an hour before they deliver to avoid having to stay in - a service I value as I work full time.

Although slightly reluctant to buy from the site at first due to not having heard of them before, I am so glad I did and the whole shopping experience with them has been marvellous - regular email updates as to the status of my order and prompt delivery. Web site was difficult to navigate because I had wanted to collect the item from the shop. In the end couldn't fathom out how to do this so I paid up the £7 for delivery. Delivery was on-time and excellent.

It would have been helpful when placing the order to have been given a rough indication of likely delivery date but the gentleman I spoke to at customer support was very helpful and I appreciated the emails to tell me my goods were on their way and how I could track them.
I would have no hesitation in using Martin Dawes again. |

I'm loving my new Bravia LCD which arrived a few days after I ordered it. The only thing I will say is that I phoned them to change the delivery date which they said was fine but it still arrived on the original day they allocated. Still wasn't really a problem and I got my tv earlier! |

I was notified of the delivery date with less than 48 hours notice. I was unable to stop the proposed delivery even though I notified in the mortning of the preceding day. I was not able to prevent this wasted delivery attempt NOR TO ARRANGE AN ALTERNATIVE TIME at this stage. I was told to wait for a card from the failed delivery and then phone to rearrange. In fact the telephone number on the card had been stamped over with another telephone number and was not readable. it was pure luck that someone ( not me) was in the house when the delivery happened the next day.
Why can't delivery be stopped with more than 24 hours notice?
Why can't it be rearranged in a single phone call? |
