Electric Shop tried a number of times to get hold of me to arrange delivery but I was away from my desk at work. However, when I tried to ring them back, they couldn't find my order details. Eventually they left a message on my mobile to confirm the delivery date. My only disappointment was that there is no shorter time slot - its 8am to 6pm - so we had to arrange for someone to be in all day. On the day, Customer Services rang me up and said the item wasn't on the van and that it would be delivered the next day, then they rang be back 15 mins later to say it was on the van and to ignore the previous message - all a bit confusing. Anyway, the item did arrive in excellent condition and I would use Electric Shop again. |

When quieried with customer services they failed to return call. Empire direct delivered a replacement order the following day for less money. |

The distribution centre is close to where I work and I ended up collecting it myself. I happened to phone on the day that APC tried to deliver - I had not been told when the delivery would happen!! I could have arranged for it to be delivered to work or to a neighbour. |

Electric shop stated they provide a recycling service, which i paid for at the time of my order. When i had called 10 days later for an update on where my order was, i was told when my order would be delivered, and that my old appliance would be picked up and recycled. Having the recycling service was key to me ordering from electric shop. Only after receiving my order i found out this service was not available. I was told the courier they used no longer provides this service. How come they did not know this when i placed my order. Now i am left to dispose of my old appliance. |

The Dyson was therefore one delivery day late. Being a weekend we lost three days in all. The reason for purchase was to replace a hoover that had burnt out on the day of our order. So any delay meant a dirty house. Not pleased with the delay at all. |

Checking progress at about 330pm we were told that " the carrier has already left ----without our order-------" we exlained that we really did want next day as we would not be here the days following. Sales then found another carrier, despatched the goods, which then arrived at about 4 pm the next day, which fulfilled all my requirements. I just wonder about the Sales dept. and why they didn't immediately action an order for enxt day delivery when they had the item in stock at the time of order. But yes, I will certainly shop with them again,as they did put matters right. |
